Pinks Amazing Rendition of “White Rabbit”

Pink did justice to Grace Slick’s watery contralto on “White Rabbit.” Performing in front of a trippy looking glass backdrop, she nailed the song’s subtle Eastern accents, as wah-wah and Latin drum rolls built to a thunderous climax.  Pink’s cover version of “White Rabbit” for the new film “Alice Through the Looking Glass” was meant as a sisterly nod to Grace Slick, the song’s writer and original singer. What does Slick think of Pink’s faithful rendition? “It’s good. Pink has the vocal power, which is all I care about,” said Slick, 76 ”  ……got the chills watching this!”
