Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia

Plitvice Lakes National Park is a heavily-forested national park peppered with 16 crystalline lakes that tumble into each other, forming cascades and waterfalls and beautiful, mineral-rich pools. Clouds of butterflies play abov e the 18km of wooden footbridges and paths that snake around, over and under the rumbling waters.

You´ll need 6 hours to explore this stunning place of natural beauty on foot,  but you could also take one of the park´s free boats or buses, which depart every 30 minutes. Check out this sumptuous location in the video.
